UP Board Curriculum
UP Board Curriculum
The UP Board curriculum is designed to ensure that every student receives equitable learning opportunities that honor their individuality, nurture their inherent abilities, and prepare them to face real-life challenges with confidence. The objective of student assessment is to observe and support their holistic development, rather than comparing them with peers. To encourage a positive learning environment, assessments are expressed in the form of grades instead of percentages, thereby eliminating the pressure of ranking and fostering self-improvement.
The marks obtained by the student are converted into grades and reflected in the report card. The grades are as follows:
Grade | For Marks | Remarks |
A* | 90-100 | Outstanding |
A | 75-89 | Excellent |
B | 56-74 | Very Good |
C | 35-55 | Satisfactory |
